The Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) is among the largest invention fairs in the world and is organized by the Government of Korea. It offers four days of high-quality inventions and networking opportunities.
Since 2002, the SIIF has served as a platform for inventors and breakthrough technologies from all around the world to publicize, market, and sales channels for patented products and inventions.
You will have the opportunity to meet with business partners and investors and attend new market entries and consultations on IP commercialization.
In SIIF 2022, 477 inventions from about 20 countries participated. It covered 10,368m2.
Why Korea?
The economy of South Korea is a highly developed mixed economy. By nominal GDP, it has the 4th largest economy in Asia and the 12th-largest in the world. South Korea is notable for its rapid economic development from an underdeveloped nation to a developed, high-income country in a few generations. This economic growth has been described as the Miracle on the Han River, which has allowed it to join OECD and the G-20.
South Korea remains one of the fastest-growing developed countries in the world following the Great Recession and the COVID-19 recession. It is included in the group of Next Eleven countries as having the potential to play a dominant role in the global economy by the middle of the 21st century.
Visiting Korea
Early November is one of the most beautiful times to visit Korea. You will be mesmerized by the sea of red leaves as Korea prepares to say goodbye to autumn and welcome the first snow in weeks to come. You will experience 19°C in the day and as low as -1°C at night. The average temperature is 10°C.
